'Communion' - front cover

Funny how brilliant things and crap things come along on the same day. This - the front cover of my first poetry collection, 'Communion', which is due to be published around the endish of this monthish - is definitely the former, and I really shouldn't let this  moment be eclipsed by tribulation ...

  1. Against or for Lust? I can't tell. Good cover, looking forward to the book--from a bookish.

  2. The mural is a warning against Lust. (If you look closely, you can make out a spear piercing them, and further to the left (not on the cover) there are the far patchier remains of a devil.

The title poem makes point that they are so wrapped up in each other that they don't appear to notice their eternal torment, and goes on to describe their 'holy communion' in all manner of sacred places.

So yes, I agree with you, and as a piece of propaganda, it's probably one of the least effective I've ever seen!
