Easton Arts Trail: The Finishing Touches

The hottest day of the year so far saw 13 Foster Street, Easton BS5 6JE positively throbbing with activity on the eve of the Easton Arts Trail.

Houses on the trail will be open Saturday and Sunday from approximately 11am to 6pm.  Come and visit us and you will see the following:

A thoughtful and thought-provoking installation by Hazel Hammond on the theme of domestic abuse, featuring broken crockery mended in the Japanese tradition of Kintsugi (gold joinery) and featuring poems by Hazel herself, Andi Langford-Woods,  Hannah Linden, Jo Bell and Deborah Harvey (that's me, feeling honoured).

Original watercolours, prints, cards and Inking Bitternses from Dru Marland of Gert Macky Books.

Fused glass by Glazed Expression Glasswork, aka me.

And it's all ready ...

... well, almost all ready for our first visitors tomorrow morning.  If you are in the area, do pop around and say hello!
